About Us

At the Harmonium Institute we teach Indian classical (Raga music), semi-classical (Thumri, Dadra, Dhun,
Natyageet, Ghazal etc.) and devotional music (Kirtan, Bhajan, Abhang etc.) on the Harmonium. We also
teach Kirtan chanting / Yoga chanting with the harmonium.
We welcome students of all ages, all levels and all cultural, religious, linguistic and ethnic backgrounds in
the USA and Canada. We are located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania within easy driving distance from
Philadelphia and NJ locations.
Our programs offer a combination of educational videos, virtual and in-person 1-1 learning, peer
workshops, live performance experience for students and opportunities to listen to world class music
from these genres at close quarters.
